Terms of Service for NutriConvo AI

Overview

These Terms of Service govern your use of NutriConvo AI, a voice calorie tracker, AI diet assistant, website, mobile app, connected-capability service, and API service provided by Useful First. By using NutriConvo AI, you agree to these Terms and to the NutriConvo AI Privacy Policy.

Product Use

NutriConvo AI helps you log meals, estimate calories and macros, track profile targets, and review diet progress from natural language input. You are responsible for reviewing food logs, nutrition estimates, goals, and profile information before relying on them.

NutriConvo AI is not medical care, nutrition counseling, or an emergency service. Do not use NutriConvo AI as a substitute for professional medical, nutrition, or mental-health advice.

Account And Access

Some features require signing in with Apple, Google, or email and password through Firebase Auth. You are responsible for maintaining control of your account, browser, phone, and devices. You may view your web account and access state from the NutriConvo AI account page.

Email-and-password access requires email verification. You may link additional sign-in methods only after authenticating the current NutriConvo account. Matching email addresses alone do not authorize NutriConvo to combine different accounts.

NutriConvo AI is intended only for adults who are 18 years of age or older. By creating an account or using the service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

Connected AI Assistants

A compatible AI assistant, MCP client, or CLI connects through OAuth and receives only the permissions you approve. Available permissions cover setup, food settings, account preferences, account-access status, food and diary access, body-weight tracking, progress recommendations, nutrition-plan proposals and decisions, and links to first-party account management, existing subscription management, data export, and whole-account deletion. Granting a permission is independent of onboarding or Tools or Full access status and does not itself confer product access. Reading food settings requires food.read; changing them requires food.write. preferences.read permits reads of the body unit system, language, nutrition context, and voice cues; preferences.write permits only a complete ready, thinking, and ended voice-cue replacement at its exact current revision. Reviewing plan lifecycle state requires plan.read; evaluating, creating, previewing, acknowledging, or deciding it requires plan.write.

The connected service interprets your request and chooses when to call a tool. You are responsible for reviewing the proposed action and any requested confirmation. Authorized write actions may save, replace, or clear setup answers; complete an explicitly approved onboarding plan; add or change private diary records; delete an identified diary entry; change food-logging settings; replace the complete ready, thinking, and ended voice-cue selection at its exact revision; add or replace a same-day body-weight measurement; evaluate a progress recommendation; create or rebase a pending nutrition-plan proposal; acknowledge, defer, or reject a lifecycle item; or explicitly accept and apply a recommendation or proposal. Creating or previewing a proposal does not apply it, but may supersede or rebase a pending draft. Applying a recommendation or proposal requires review of its exact current version and explicit approval, and can replace the active nutrition plan and targets. A food-settings change affects future food operations and result presentation; it does not rewrite frozen results from earlier operations. read_account_access returns only the current tier and status, relevant period, setup prerequisites, capability and managed-assistant availability, and whether an existing subscription can be managed. open_subscription_management returns or opens the first-party NutriConvo account section for that existing subscription. After you authenticate and explicitly choose to manage it, that page may open the applicable provider. Connected access tools never return pricing or checkout, start a purchase, change an access tier, or offer an upgrade. The tools do not change, export, or delete your account inside the connected service.

Setup, food-settings, and account-preference tools remain available before onboarding is complete and do not require Tools or Full access; setup changes close after onboarding is completed. Preference tools still require acceptance of the current NutriConvo policy. Ordinary food, diary, body-weight, and plan tools require completed onboarding and eligible Tools or Full access. Account-access and account-navigation tools do not confer product access, and every sensitive account action still requires first-party authentication and confirmation on the NutriConvo website or the applicable provider surface.

When a compatible host supports component state, ChatGPT may preserve the same validated bounded food-receipt or weight-progress result as widget state so an older chat can restore its view. This creates no new NutriConvo backend record. The connected service controls that copy under its own terms.

The connected service is a separate third-party product governed by its own terms and privacy policy. Its availability, AI behavior, and handling of the conversation are outside Useful First's control. Useful First may reject, limit, or revoke a connection to protect accounts, enforce entitlements or permissions, prevent abuse, or maintain the service.

Billing

NutriConvo AI may require a paid subscription for continued use. Web billing is handled by Stripe. Mobile billing may be handled by the App Store or Google Play. Prices, taxes, payment details, subscription terms, renewal dates, and cancellation options are presented by the payment provider during checkout or in the provider's subscription management surface.

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Canceling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically refund past charges.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse NutriConvo AI. Prohibited activity includes:

• Attempting to bypass authentication, billing, rate limits, or entitlement checks.
• Reverse engineering or interfering with the website, mobile app, API, or backend systems.
• Submitting malicious, abusive, false, or high-volume automated requests.
• Using the service to violate laws, third-party rights, or payment-provider rules.
• Sharing account access in a way that causes abuse or unauthorized use.

Third-Party Services

NutriConvo AI depends on third-party services including Firebase, Apple, Google, Stripe, speech, language-model, connected AI-assistant or MCP clients, food-data, hosting, database, and infrastructure providers. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Useful First is not responsible for outages, changes, or failures in third-party services outside its control.

AI And Nutrition Output

NutriConvo AI uses automated speech, language, and nutrition processing. The service may misunderstand a meal description, estimate incorrectly, miss ingredients, or fail to complete a requested action. You are responsible for checking important nutrition, goal, allergy, health, and medication-related decisions with appropriate professionals.

Availability And Changes

Useful First may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of NutriConvo AI at any time. Useful First may also update the website, app, API, pricing, supported features, and entitlement rules as the product changes.

Disclaimers

NutriConvo AI is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Useful First does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every diet, health, nutrition, or fitness goal.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Useful First will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, health outcomes, nutrition decisions, payment-provider issues, or business interruption arising from your use of NutriConvo AI.

Termination

You may stop using NutriConvo AI at any time. Useful First may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, create risk for other users or the product, or fail to pay required fees.

Changes To These Terms

Useful First may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are made, Useful First will post the updated Terms on the website and update the last updated date. Continued use of NutriConvo AI after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
